Wellbeing strategies that ACTUALLY work… Using the resources you ACTUALLY have. Seriously.
If you’re an autistic person or auDHDer, you’re likely drowning in well-meaning but misguided advice from people who simply do not understand how your brain works.
“Just use a calendar!”
“Just be more flexible! Like magic!”
“Just say this broad, sweeping affirmation enough times to alter the fabric of the universe to make itself true!”
“Have you tried the underwater dragon pilates?” (Okay, I gotta admit that last one sounds cool.)
Even worse is advice that assumes access to extensive resources: “Have you considered just, like, you know, hiring a personal chef?”
As an AuDHD peer supporter, I offer kind, validating, and tailored guidance through the winding world of autistic wellbeing. You’ll learn how to understand, support, and advocate for your needs and neurology—all while gaining a hands-on helper for concrete tasks like meal plans and morning routines. (And I promise: no advice that’s best suited to millionaires.)
“You can’t hate yourself into a version of yourself that you love.” -Brene Brown
Autistic people and AuDHDers often spend our entire lives being told that the ways in which we experience and react to the world are fundamentally wrong. Even if we aren’t trying to mask as neurotypical, this chronic invalidation can be so all-consuming that it disconnects us from our needs and our selves.
The result? Sure, many of us manage to build impressive talents (art, event planning, encyclopaedic knowledge of butterflies), but when it comes to building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling—or even just meeting our basic needs throughout the day—many autistic adults don’t know where to start. Whether we’re diagnosed as a child, diagnosed late in life, or denied access to any diagnosis at all, the misinformation we hear about autism has us endlessly pushing ourselves to be someone else, leading to a vicious cycle of self-hatred and burnout. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
I offer 1-on-1, Zoom-based autistic peer support so you can talk to someone who actually gets it. Whether you need a soft, gentle session to simply speak and be heard or concrete suggestions for drinking enough water throughout the day, I am here to help.
What is peer support like?
Horizontal and Collaborative—Never Authoritarian
YOU are the expert of yourself and your experience. I’m not an authority trying to “cure” you—just a big nerd about autism, a helper with difficult tasks, and a partner in your journey to wellbeing (whatever wellbeing looks like to you.)
Validates your Lived Experiences
The struggles you experience are real and they matter. Even when we’re working together on challenging the beliefs that don’t serve you, “just try harder” will NEVER be a part of my peer support vocabulary.
Promotes Community and Justice
There is no such thing as “independence”—everyone needs community. Exclusion, not a lack of independence, creates suffering for neurodivergent people—and connection, not isolation, is the solution.
While peer support is a valuable tool in your mental health toolbox, it is not psychotherapy. I am not a medical or psychiatric provider and my peer support services are not intended to treat any form of illness. (Side note: autism is not an illness!)

What can we talk about?
Peer support is client-led, so our sessions will be tailored to what you need that day. You can book regular sessions or ad hoc sessions as you need them. Here are some examples:
- A soft space to vent: babble out those detailed worries in a gentle, judgment-free space.
- Finding your spiky cognitive profile: why are you so damn GOOD at deciphering complex puzzles if you’re so damn BAD at going to the grocery store?
- Meal plans that don’t suck: how can you meet your sensory needs and your nutrition needs—while also cutting yourself some friggin’ slack?
- Unpacking the pathology model of autism and ADHD: Why do research results and lived experience so rarely match up? Is “disabled” a dirty word? How can reframing our perception of autism, ADHD, and their associated struggles help to reduce the struggles in question?
- Embracing and facilitating an autistic style of productivity: Fighting the “focus waves” is like fighting the ocean. Let’s set you up to surf instead.
- Articulating your experiences: What do terms like “monotropism” and “hyperplasticity” really mean for autism/ADHD?
- Stimming and self-regulation: Sensory needs don’t stop at adulthood. Let’s figure out your unique triggers and glimmers!
